Welcome to my Assetto Corsa portfolio! Here is where you can see some of the material for Kunos Simulazioni's popular simulation racing game.
Assetto Corsa: MORE Than Just Skins?
Before I share with you my Assetto Corsa skins, let me share with you this topic. When you design a livery in Assetto Corsa, you can design just the livery for a car in Assetto Corsa. To be unique, however, you must come up with quality crew and driver outfits. I recommend you get Content Manager for Assetto Corsa to be able to preview elements without needing to have Assetto Corsa active. You can preview car skins and car models while also even looking at other features. If you donate to get the full version of Content Manager, you will have access to more features from this great program.
I wanted to bring this section up to make mention of drivers and teams. I created this image showcasing a car I painted and the pit crew that comes with it:
I wanted to bring this section up to make mention of drivers and teams. I created this image showcasing a car I painted and the pit crew that comes with it:
Not only can you make a livery for a car in Assetto Corsa, you can also make the outfits for your racing team. Here in this picture, you can see the pit crew members including the radio and computer team. There are a number of elements you can edit once you seriously consider every facet of a livery in Assetto Corsa.
The good thing about Assetto Corsa is that there are a good amount of default items to make even basic teams with. So you can't really say there aren't enough items for you to customize your driver and team among the offered items in AC. If you are more advanced, you can try to make your own helmets, gloves, and suits for the driver and the team. Some modders make complete racing outfits you can download and add to your collection of racing gear.
Assetto Corsa: Capturing the Moments
As important as taking pictures is, equally as important is choosing different settings. Using "Content Manager" for Assetto Corsa, one is able to capture pictures of vehicles in a number of different scenes. Here is an example of six different scenes for Showrooms:
For simplicity's sake, I use the default settings. I actually want to eventually create my own Showroom to exhibit my liveries in charming and unique settings. That won't happen unless I really get to learn how to make Showrooms.
Now go to the next section to see my liveries for vehicles in Assetto Corsa.

Assetto Corsa Skins
Assetto Corsa, which translates to "racing setup" from Italian, is one of the most fascinating simulation racing games today. This game developed by Kunos Simluazioni is renowned for its fabulous driving dynamics. Every car feels and performs differently from one another. Get ready for an experience that is engaging and full of pleasure.
One of the best things about Assetto Corsa is that templates for all of the cars are provided for you in case you want to develop skins for cars. If you want the full experience, be sure to purchase all of the downloadable content (DLC) for AC to get all of the cars. Another nice thing about AC car skin making is that there is an external program that allows you to simply view cars without opening Assetto Corsa. But if you really want the proper experience, download "Content Manager" for AC. Skins update in real time as you save the file to a car without having to load the game.
Since this seemed more intuitive, I felt happy and comfortable skinning in Assetto Corsa. Allow me to show you some of my designs in AC.
NOTE: Some vehicles featured here may have more than one livery I have created for each car. Designs for the same vehicle is listed in the order of least recent to most recent. Recent liveries will be posted below the previous one. So the most recent livery(-ies) will be posted later in the section for each vehicle.
EXTRA NOTE: I don't drink or smoke; and so with the liveries I present, I choose not to feature liveries of alcoholic beverages or tobacco.
DISCLAIMER: All vehicles and sponsors are all registered trademarks of each respective manufacturer and company.

Assetto Corsa: 2016 Audi R8 LMS
One of the most fabulous-looking and most successful race cars of the 21st Century is the Audi R8 LMS. While the latest R8 road car isn't as elegant as the first R8, it is still a great looking car and a capable race car. I painted up the 2016 Audi R8 LMS in the blue and gold of my fantasy motorsports team- Moonlight Motorsports.
Assetto Corsa: Lamborghini Huracan ST
The Lamborghini Huracan ST is a racing machine based on the Lamborghini Super Trofeo cars. There are a few different leagues featuring these Lamborghini racing models. This one was my take on these cars with my own livery:
Assetto Corsa: Alfa Romeo 4C
One of the most gorgeous cars of the 2010s decade is the Alfa Romeo 4C. I always see this car as an Italian Lotus because of its body style. It is a joy to drive in Assetto Corsa. Since it is a street car, I didn't want to go overboard with a racing design. So what I did was come up with this scheme:
Assetto Corsa: Porsche 911 RSR (2017 Model)
In the mid-2010s, the Porsche 911 RSR got a makeover. It carried on a much more elegant package retaining its rear-engine placement. Despite this, the 911 RSR couldn't keep up with the likes of Ferrari and McLaren in the GT3 ranks. So Porsche decided to re-design their fine race car to boast a mid-engine layout. This is the 2017 model of the long-standing 911 RSR. I decided to paint one up in the colors of Sodexo, a French company that specializes in quality of life services (such as providing food). I kind of thought of making this a three-car team. And since Sodexo is a French company, this is a French team. Here is the car skin I designed for this car in Assetto Corsa:
Oh... so I DID make a team out of this car (as of: February 26, 2018)! Check it:
Assetto Corsa: Mazda MX-5 Cup
Depending on who you ask, the Mazda MX-5/Miata is either one of the most affordable sports cars anyone can buy, or it is one of the most girly cars on the market. The former describes my view of this car. The MX-5 Cup has been a great racing car for up-and-coming racers and seasoned professionals alike. Assetto Corsa offers this car as part of its lineup of cars in the game. The car may lack horsepower and torque, but its racing dynamics for such an underpowered car is incredible. I feel like designing more skins for it. For now, take a look at what skin work I've done to Mazda's baby:
Assetto Corsa: Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport
The Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport is the racing-specific version of the Cayman GT4. I was inspired by my Pizza Hut livery on the Porsche Cayman S mod for GTR2. Since these were two different Cayman models, I had to try to make the Assetto Corsa Cayman different in livery from the GTR2 one I did long ago. So this is what I came up with in styling this car with such livery:
(ADDED: March 10, 2018)
Originally a project for the 911 GT3 Cup Car or a 911 RSR in Assetto Corsa, I went ahead and designed another skin for the Cayman GT4 Clubsport. Have a look at this skin I created:
Originally a project for the 911 GT3 Cup Car or a 911 RSR in Assetto Corsa, I went ahead and designed another skin for the Cayman GT4 Clubsport. Have a look at this skin I created:
A big part of this car's livery design is my usage of curves. I learned how to use the Pen tool in GIMP to make lines to then convert into curves. You can see the curved detail with the gold accents on the sides of this WalMart Porsche I designed.
(added: January 26, 2019) I decided at one point to migrate one of my GTR2 projects to Assetto Corsa. And instead of using SEAT hatchbacks from my GTR2 project, I decided to make liveries based on the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport. You can see my work in these images below. All of the ones in this collection are part of a One-Make Series I set up:
Assetto Corsa: Toyota GT86
A joint effort between Toyota and Subaru was employed to bring a brand-new sports car to the market. This mid-level sports car boasted a boxer (or horizontally-opposed) engine and rear-wheel drive. That car came into fruition as three different models- the Scion FR-S, the Subaru BRZ, and the Toyota GT86. When Scion went defunct, Toyota took over, and the new car was the Toyota GT86. This is the first Assetto Corsa car I painted up that is NOT a downloadable content (DLC) car. I gave it FedEx livery. I wanted to make the car look like one of the FedEx planes. So while there is FedEx sponsorship, I also included Boeing. This car was not inspired by NASCAR driver Denny Hamiln, despite the fact his stock car is a FedEx-sponsored Toyota Camry stock car. Take a look:
The first car I made different liveries for in Assetto Corsa is the Toyota GT86. I attempted to make another skin for the GT86. This was previously to be a planned livery for a Porsche. Instead, I made this skin for the GT86. The livery is the University of Houston. And in case you ask, I am not a University of Houston alum, nor have I ever been a student there, but I am a big fan of the University of Houston Cougars and their athletics programs. Take a look:
Assetto Corsa: Ford Mustang 2015
Even though I love the Chevrolet Camaro, I also love the Ford Mustang, especially '60s Mustangs and almost any Mustang 2004 and after. The Ford Mustang has long been an American icon since its 1964 inception. This latest Mustang has been further evolution since the car took a more retro stance beginning around 2004. The newer Mustangs are meaner, leaner, and a bit lower; not to mention more powerful. The first attempt at trying to skin this car was inspiration from iRacing broadcaster Joe White of OSRNetwork. In some iRacing broadcasts, he would go to the blimp style view, which he calls the "Blimpie Cam." This weird inspiration got me to make a skin based on Blimpie Subs. I honestly was not sure how to style this car. What I WAS able to come up with, however, can be seen below:
Assetto Corsa: Toyota Celica ST185 4WD Turbo
One of the most successful rally cars in history is the Toyota Celica. The model featured in Assetto Corsa is the ST185 model Celica. I tried to come up with some kind of Nintendo livery. Since this is an older car, I tried to keep things mostly historically-accurate. So this is what I came up with:
Assetto Corsa: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3
In 2008 so, Mercedes-Benz released a beautiful exotic sports car that paid homage to one of my all-time favorite cars, the 300SL. This modern gullwing sports car got itself a GT3-spec racing version to go with the gorgeous car. As a non-DLC car in Assetto Corsa, this is a car you can enjoy without having to buy some pack for Assetto Corsa. Take a look at my designs:
Assetto Corsa: Porsche Macan Turbo
Debuting in 2014, the Porsche Macan is the smaller sibling to the Porsche Cayenne. This sport utility vehicle (SUV) in Assetto Corsa did not come with a wireframe mapping for its template, so I had to learn all the pieces of this SUV in trial-and-error format. What I was able to create is what I could really do with a not-very-good template. So here goes:
Assetto Corsa: Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio
Alfa Romeo's return to the United States involved bringing some enticing vehicles stateside. One of those beauties is the Alfa Romeo Giulia. This new age Giulia is sure to turn heads. I decided to design a livery for this car, and this is what I created:
Assetto Corsa: BMW Z4 GT3
The BMW Z4 GT3 is a fabulous racing variant of the equally fabulous BMW (especially the Z4 E89). For the first time in my Assetto Corsa skinning, I attempted to make a proper race team. So what you will see is a team picture followed by a look at each of the individual cars. Click on the smaller pictures to see them in greater detail (uses Lightbox). Take a look and (hopefully) enjoy!
Assetto Corsa: BMW M3 GT2
BMW has long had a history in sportscar racing. In the mid-late 2000s, their GT racing racing weapon of choice was the BMW M3 GT2. This is a freely-available car in Assetto Corsa. It also happens to be the first team I created featuring a freely available car. So here are my skin creations with this race car:
Assetto Corsa: Ford GT40
So you are not into modern cars much? Well, try this one. I put together this vintage livery for this vintage race car. One of my all-time favorite cars, the Ford GT40, is one of the most iconic racing cars in history. The car is called the GT40 because it is a Grand Touring car that is 40 inches tall. Many (myself included) hark back to the No. 6 Gulf-liveried Ford GT40 when people think of the GT40. Here is my work with this classic race car:
Assetto Corsa: Tatuus FA01
Meet the Tatuus FA01- a formula racing car, and not to mention the first open-wheel car I designed a skin for in Assetto Corsa. The Tatuus FA01 is the car used in the Formula Abarth series. It is meant to be a low-cost formula race car delivering incredible performance. The FA01 from Tatuus packs 198 horsepower from a turbo engine. Once I finally figured out how to design skins for it, I took some chances to try to create some skins for this car. I was even wooed by the idea of taking one of my incomplete GTR2 projects and try to bring it into the realm of Assetto Corsa. I have a lot of ideas for this car, but I haven't yet fully committed to any specific project. Here is what I came up with in designing liveries for this race car:
Assetto Corsa: Lotus Evora GTC
Lotus made an absolutely beautiful exotic car when they created the Evora. Named after a city in Portugal, the Evora is a lovely automobile I have actually seen on the road before. I never really liked the Esprit, but I almost instantly fell head-over-heels in love with the Evora. I even loved tuning and racing the Evora in Gran Turismo 5. In Assetto Corsa, the Lotus Evora comes in a number of forms, including this racing-spec Evora GTC. Here is my work skinning this car:
Assetto Corsa: Porsche 962C (Long Tail)
One of the most iconic prototypes in Group C sportscar racing is the Porsche 962C. The 962C has enjoyed a great deal of success through the 1980s and the early 1990s. You can look up IMSA videos on YouTube and probably see one of these 962Cs racing. The 962C even won Le Mans outright the year I was born (1983). In Assetto Corsa, the Porsche 962C comes in a long tail and a short tail. The former is what I attempted to make skins for. Take a look at my work with the long tail version of this race car:
Assetto Corsa: Porsche 962C (Short Tail)
While the previous section was about the long tail Porsche 962C, this one is about the short tail Porsche 962C. There are some differences in chassis design between the long tail and short tail versions of this car. I tried my luck making designs for the short-tailed Porsche 962C. What have I come up with? Take a look:
Assetto Corsa: Maserati Quattroporte GTS
I honestly am not really into Maserati. However, I did not hesitate on the opportunity to skin another vehicle. I decided to spice things up and try to skin for the Maserati Quattroporte GTS. This car packs 530hp and approximately 524 lb. ft. of torque from a twin-turbo V8. This is a luxurious car.
FUN FACT: This skin for this Maserati Quattroporte GTS is officially the 20th different Assetto Corsa car I made a skin for!
Assetto Corsa: Abarth 500 EsseEsse
It is perfectly normal to be drawn in by the Abarth 500's cuteness. However, this is a rather fierce little car! I figured I try my hand and designing skins for this tiny terror. So take a look at my work:
Assetto Corsa: Praga R1
Praga is a Czech racing vehicle constructor that manufacturers their racing machines in Slovakia. Believe me when I say this- the Praga R1 was NOT easy to skin. A big part of me struggling with skinning this Praga R1 was in trying to mirror and rotate parts of this car's right side. If anything, I learned to try to break up textures into halves so I could properly do the graphics along the center of the car. Don't expect seeing me skin too many more of this car. But for now, here's one of my best efforts for a difficult car to skin:
This is the Praga R1 in Hewlett-Packard (HP) livery. It was so tough to skin this car's right side, since I had to break up graphics in half for the center, and not to mention rotating and flipping images to properly make out the livery for this Czech race car. This is the best I could do at this time.
Assetto Corsa: KTM X-Bow R
The KTM X-Bow (pronounced as in "crossbow") R is often thought of as a four-wheel motorcycle. This Austrian sports car surely fits the bill on that front. The car is powered by an Audi-sourced engine pushing 300 horsepower. The X-Bow R, more than anything, is a track toy rather than any practical car. Skinning is fairly simple for this car as there isn't much in the way of body parts to edit. So my options were limited. Here is what I did come up with, though:
Assetto Corsa: Lamborghini Aventador SV
After going on a roll posting skin designs for Automobilista (you can see my AMS work by clicking here), I briefly returned to Assetto Corsa to produce a skin for AC. This car here is the Lamborghini Aventador SV. It is a supercar with a naturally-aspirated V12 engine producing 750 horsepower. The Aventador succeeded the Murciélago. Here is a look at my skinning work with the Aventador SV:
Assetto Corsa: McLaren MP4-12C
McLaren Automotive created one of the most unreal automobiles (and one of my personal favorites of all time) when they created the McLaren F1 in the 1990s. Since then, they been out of the production car game until about 2011 with the McLaren MP4-12C. This is a gorgeous British supercar meant to challenge the likes of the Ferrari 458 Italia (which is also in Assetto Corsa). I actually saw one of these once at the Houston Auto Show. In my return to skinning after so long, I figured I'd give this car a try. I wasn't able to not have the ports of the rear mufflers painted. So I only focused on the front and sides of the car. Check out my best skinning effort:
This marks the 25th different car I skinned in Assetto Corsa!
Assetto Corsa: BMW M4
In Assetto Corsa, the BMW M4 comes in two varieties- the basic M4 and M4 Akrakpovic. The M4 in the game is the coupe version of the M4. It is elegantly edgy. I always wanted to style up a luxurious racing machine with a stylish livery. So take a look at what I came up with:
Assetto Corsa: Ferrari 458 Italia
While I never really liked the Ferrari 458 Italia much looks-wise, I did try to make some kind of livery for this car. The Ferrari 458 Italia replaced the beautiful Ferrari F430. It has an excellent engine note though I don't like this car's looks too much. Anyhow, here is what I came up with in skinning this car:
Assetto Corsa: Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3
Mercedes-Benz has the AMG GT as its latest weapon in the competitive realm of GT racing. It is fiercely elegant and has a mean, growling V8 engine that produces 520 horsepower. This is no doubt a great car to succeed the SLS AMG and the SLS AMG GT3. Take a look at my efforts to skin this race car below:
Assetto Corsa: Porsche Cayenne Turbo S
In 2002, Porsche released something most automobile enthusiasts would never expect to see from Porsche- a sport utility vehicle. The 2003 model year Porsche Cayenne marked a new addition to the already stacked Porsche lineup. Early on, I remember the Cayenne was notorious for having overheating brakes. The Cayenne is a stylish and capable SUV. It is meant to take on more of the urban jungle than be used for any hardcore off-roading. With that said, the Cayenne has been rather successful and not being some passing fad. I see a number of Cayennes on the road on most weekends. This is a freely-available machine in Assetto Corsa. The featured Cayenne in Assetto Corsa is powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine producing 570 horsepower and 590 lb. ft of torque. Here is what I came up with skinning this fine SUV:
Assetto Corsa: Ferrari 488 GTB
It felt like the end of an era when the Ferrari 488 GTB was released. The biggest reason is a move from a normally-aspirated engine to a turbo engine. The old Ferrari F40 had a turbo engine. The 488 GTB replaced the 458 Italia. Regardless, I think the 488 GTB is a great looking car. I like it as much as I do the 360 Modena and the F430. Here is a skin I created for the 488 GTB:
FUN FACT: This is now the 30th different car I skinned for Assetto Corsa!
Assetto Corsa: Maserati Levante S
Many people thought the world was coming to an end or that Maserati was cheapening their lineup by offering an SUV. Ladies and gentlemen, meet the Maserati Levante S. This is an exotic SUV offering 424 horsepower and loads of sharp styling. I actually slowly begun to love this SUV after just simply liking it. The template offered for it meant you would have to split up longer or larger images. Since I am not that skilled, I just went with what I know. That's how to do things, right? Thankfully, this one wasn't as hard to skin as the Praga R1. So take a look at what I came up with:
Assetto Corsa: Nissan Skyline GTR R34 V-Spec
Besides today's Nissan GT-R, my favorite Nissan Skyline is the R34. I tend to feel this car wouldn't have made it to many other parts of the world had it not been for the Gran Turismo series (and other racing games). So therefore, it's great the world knows of the Skyline/GT-R now, especially the United States. I had a little fun trying to come up with a quirky little livery for the Skyline. I had planned on making one kind of livery, but instead chose to do one of Hello Kitty. All of my work with this car can be seen here:
Assetto Corsa: Pagani Huayra
The Pagani Huayra is an absolute stunner. I think it looks beautiful from the sides and at the rear. Front? Not so much. Still, the Huayra is a gorgeous supercar. I tried my hand on trying to style up the Huayra. I have one of these in Gran Turismo 6 with jaw-dropping speed. Pagani makes supercars powered by Mercedes-Benz engines. I think this one has a Mercedes-Benz turbo engine tuned by AMG. This is what I came up with trying to skin this car:
Assetto Corsa: Toyota AE86
The Toyota AE86 is an icon in the tuner and drifting scene. Most people know this car best in the highly popular manga "Initial D." You don't have to be Takumi Fujiwara and ruling Mt. Akagi (Haruna in real life). I tried to paint up the AE86 as best as I could. The AE86 is available in Assetto Corsa in regular, drift, and tuned. Here is my work:
Assetto Corsa: Mazda MX-5 ND
The Mazda MX-5 Miata turned 30 years old in mid-February 2019. The ND is the latest model of this fairly underrated sports car. I was thinking of a way to jazz up the MX-5 ND model for Assetto Corsa. Unlike the NA model MX-5 in Assetto Corsa, the ND MX-5 is a downloadable content (DLC) vehicle. I still jumped at the ability to skin one of these road-going MX-5s. Take a look at my skinning work with the MX-5 ND:
Assetto Corsa: McLaren P1
As one of several different hybrid hypercars to come along, the McLaren P1 marks the pinnacle of super high-end performance vehicles upon its 2013 debut. The McLaren P1 is thought of as a modern McLaren F1, only not a center-drive car and still plenty powerful and fast. The car is powered by a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 along with an electric motor. The end result is a whopping total of 903 horsepower. If you want to see my skinning of this car, take a look below:
Assetto Corsa: Abarth 595 SS
Do you find it surprising that I go from a super-powerful hypercar... to an absolutely weak and small vintage? My 37th different car skinned for Assetto Corsa is the FIAT Abarth 595 SS. This is a car from 1964 that has 32 horsepower and a top speed of 130 kph (or approximately 81 mph). It is a rear-engine, rear-wheel drive car. If you want a vintage driving experience, this is not a bad car to drive. Take a look at my skinning work:
Assetto Corsa: Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray
The Chevrolet Corvette has been "America's Sports Car" since its debut in 1953. It has been the car to step up to the plate against the likes of Ferrari and Porsche. The latest iteration in Assetto Corsa is the Corvette C7 Stingray. Proudly built in Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA; the Corvette is ready to make plenty of noise. I had planned to skin up a C7 Stingray before, but never completed it. I also disabled one certain layer from its template that made skinning a good bit easier. And so if you want to see my work with this car, take a look:
Assetto Corsa: Porsche 918 Spyder
Porsche's entry into the hypercar realm is with their 918 Spyder. With around 800+ horsepower, this four-wheel drive hypercar has a lovely appearance and some crazy performance. I looked for the opportunity to style up this car. And in so, I was looking to paint up a car in purple while also applying sparkling effects. I call it "Purple Magic." Previously, I had looked at the Porsche 911 GT3 RS to make "Purple Magic." I later decided to apply "Purple Magic" to a 918 Spyder. I learned how to apply a scatter brush option (called "jitter" in GIMP) as well as apply a Random Color Dynamic setting. You can see my work here with my "Purple Magic" car (and any other paints to this car) below:
Assetto Corsa: Porsche Panamera Turbo
You either love the Porsche Panamera, or you loathe it. A lot of people cringed at the notion of a four-door Porsche. The Porsche Panamera is a luxurious sedan powered by a 4.0 liter turbo V8 producing 550 horsepower. A cool feature of this Panamera is how its rear wing is deployed. It activates and shapes almost like a Transformer robot. In fact, I sometimes question if this Panamera is an Autobot or a Decepticon (if you are familiar with the Transformers). :) Anyhow, I been wanting to skin this car for a long while and only successfully completed skinning it recently. So check out my work here:
FUN FACT: This is my 40th different car skinned for Assetto Corsa!
Assetto Corsa: Ferrari 812 Superfast
Debuting in 2017, the Ferrari 812 Superfast somewhat represents the end of an era in regards to classic supercars. The 812 Superfast is a grand touring supercar packing 800 horsepower and approx. 530 lb. ft of torque from a normally-aspirated V12 engine. This car is a stunner from almost any angle. While I don't consider it gorgeous, I do think it is a charming machine. It was tough to decide how to skin the 812 Superfast for Assetto Corsa. I had long planned trying something like a Shell V-Power livery for the 812 Superfast. However, and at the time, I didn't know how I wanted to skin it. So I went instead with another such livery for my first skinning attempt of this car. You can see any and all of my skinning work for this car below:
Assetto Corsa: McLaren 570S
The McLaren 570S is told to be the lowest offering in the McLaren lineup. Just because it is the weakest, though, doesn't mean it is any kind of slouch... because it is anything BUT a slouch. Its mid-mounted V8 engine produces over 562 horsepower and roughly 442 lb. ft. (or 600 Nm) of torque. It is told to have a top speed of about 203 mph (328 kph). This car is not entirely beautiful to me, but I like it a whole lot. So I took the opportunity to design a livery for this car. The work I've done for this car can be seen below:
Assetto Corsa: Porsche 718 Cayman S
The Porsche Cayman is Porsche's entry-level sports car. The Porsche 718 Cayman S is an upgraded version of the base Cayman. It is the third generation of this handsome sports car. The 718 Cayman S features a boxer (or horizontally-opposed) four-cylinder engine that is turbocharged to produce 350 horsepower and 309 lb. ft of torque. When I designed my first skin for it, I actually intended on making a skin to be released on a Wednesday. And while I didn't see all of the movie, I even wanted to make my own parody of the "Mean Girls" quote of, "on Wednesdays, we wear pink!" Only my take was, "on Wednesdays, we drive pink!" That led me to come up with a skin for this car with the livery of AutoNation. Any and all skinning work I've done with this car can be seen below:
Assetto Corsa: Ferrari 488 GTB
As Ferrari went from the 458 Italia to the 488 GTB on the road, they did the same on the motorsports front. So enter the 488 GTB GT3. This is a GT racing machine pushing about 500 horsepower from a 3.9 liter turbo V8. I had a few ideas in mind trying to make a skin for it. In my first attempt I was proud of, I produced a livery in GIMP while also testing a PANTONE palette I found for it. This PANTONE palette I used was reminiscent of one of the swatch palettes I used in the paid paint program Affinity Photo (and even Affinity Designer and Publisher). Despite the enhanced color options, I still applied my own touches to the Ferrari 488 GTB. I even practiced using Layer Groups to make designing skins a bit easier. I ultimately did not need Layer Groups, but you can see what I came up with for this car here:
Assetto Corsa: Lotus Exige V6 CUP
More than any average Exige (since when are Lotuses anything but average?), this is a Lotus Elise V6 Cup. This is a road-legal performance variant of the already mad Exige. I had one concept for the V6 Cup before I eventually went a different direction. You can see my skinning work here:
Assetto Corsa: Lotus Evora S
Arguably the most gorgeous Lotus ever produced, the Evora is a fabulous sports car. This British beauty produces 345 brake horsepower and 400 nM (295 lb. ft.) of torque from its Toyota-derived(?) engine. I have actually seen the Evora on the road before. This was also one of my favorite cars in Gran Turismo 5. Here is my skinning work with the Lotus Evora S:
Now that you've seen my skin creations, I am also looking to find decent creations of racing suits to go with my liveries. So please check out the Game Mods section of the JMDesigns Store to see my completed work.
I will have more material to share in future edits. So make sure to Bookmark this site or something to keep up with the latest material.
More to come!
Special Request!
I am considering offering my liveries for download. If there are any designs of mine you like, I will consider offering these liveries to various sites. I am considering the likes of NoGripRacing and RaceDepartment for my liveries. In addition, I am also considering rFactor Central for rFactor skins.
Again- let me know if any of my designs interest you and that you would want to download. Thank you for your cooperation!
